Welcome to the Questions & Answer section!
Feel free to email us any questions you may have. Here are some frequently asked questions that we want to answer upfront to clear some misunderstandings.
1. Does your training meets the requirement for the Certified Nurse Assistant Certification or Home Health Aide?
No! CNA is a Nursing Assistant certified and approved by the State of California and we do not offer that training. However, our training can prepare anyone who is planning to complete the CNA certification. In order for someone to get a Home Health Aide certification, they have to be a CNA first and cannot be obtained without it. Some people are confused between the Home Care Aide and Home Health Aide. They are two different training certifications and not the same.
2. Is there any particular requirement to attend your caregiver training certifications?
The answer is no. We have two types of training certifications. 1. HCA Training 2. Professional Homecare Certifications. The first one is required and mandatory for all caregivers in the State of California whether you work independently or through an Agency. The second one (# 2) is required if you working independently and need to get a Professional Liability Insurance, Dishonestly Bond, or working for a client that has Long Term Insurance and is going to pay you, unless you are a Certified Nurse Assistant already.
3. How long does these certifications valid for?
HCA is valid for two years while the Professional Homecare Certification can be retained for four years.
4. I have no prior experience and brand new in caregiving. Can I take this class?
Definitely yes! Anyone can take this class if you are willing and have a keen interest in exploring with caregiving and working with seniors.
5. Is there a fees to be paid in order to take a class?
YES! We charge fees to take both certifications or just one.
6. Can I use my certifications anywhere else outside of California?
Yes you can. Both certifications gives you enough knowledge and skills to work with elderly whether it be in home or any settings where they reside.
7. Are the Owner and Trainers certified to teach these classes?
Yes! The first certification does not have any specific requirements to teach the class except to cover all required topics from the Basic Training to the Annual renewal. The second certification is my own curriculum that I put together. We are qualified and certified and had spent years in educating ourselves in order to teach classes.
8. Can you write a support letter to prove that we have attended and completed this training program to help us to a new assignment or future employment?
We would love to do that for you or anyone that has completed our training certifications.
